Rivertowns’ First Food Festival will take place on September 22, 2018 at the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park

Rivertown Public Market will feature destination-worthy food and drinks from around Westchester and the Lower Hudson Valley, live music, and kids’ activities, all in a picturesque setting alongside the Hudson River

The inaugural Rivertown Public Market, a celebration of local food and makers, will take place in Dobbs Ferry, New York on Saturday, September 22nd from 11 am - 4 pm (rain or shine). Public markets were once a hallmark of civic life, where producers and neighbors could meet as they went about their daily routines. We are embracing the sense of community that defines the Rivertowns, while providing a forum for our local culinary stars to share their latest creations. Join us at the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park for a day filled with destination-worthy food and drinks, live music, kids' activities, and an easygoing but festive vibe. The event will be open to the public and free of charge.

We have lined up an all-star slate of local purveyors of food and drink, including Campbell Meats, Mr. Koo’s Kitchen, The Cookery/Dave Di Bari, Bread & Brine, Boro6, Baked by Susan, Taconic Distillery, Samosa Shack, Penny Lick Ice Cream, Irvington Delight, La Milpa de Rosa Tortillas, Harper’s, Big Bang Coffee Roasters, Westchester Burger Truck, and Luxx Chocolat.

Free children’s entertainment and activities will include a performance by the world-renowned Mario the Magician, and classes by Hastings Yoga, Edge Martial Arts, and Westchester Turf & Tennis. Some of the Rivertowns’ most popular original bands will be featured, including the soul-tinged folk-rock group The Divining Rod, roots-rockers Greetings From Anywhere, and the eclectic samba ensemble Osaka De Janeiro.

There will be a limited amount of free parking available at the Waterfront Park on a first-come, first-served basis, but we encourage attendees to walk or take public transit if possible. As part of our mission to generate as little waste as possible, we also suggest attendees bring reusable water bottles.
