New York ranks near the bottom of states for voter turnout. Not because New Yorkers don't care, but because of barriers to voting. That should change with new election laws. Learn how these new laws will effect you and what we still need to do so all New York citizens can exercise their right to vote.

After the presentation go vote! March 19 is election day for some of our villages and the Greenburgh Central School bond vote.

Free continental breakfast served; $10 donation optional.

We are all invited to a fascinating workshop this Saturday morning at 11 am at the Greenburgh Library.
FACT or FAKE? Exploring the Role of Media in Politics will open your eyes to how we are getting and processing the news, with help on how to figure out just what's what. The League of Women Voters of Westchester has developed a series of civics workshops as part of its mission to secure democracy for all (since 1920!). The series is funded by the Westchester Community Foundation to enable free distribution of some great materials.
