REFUNDS IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF ARDSLEY ATHLETIC CLUB..library vote..dog swim
Release Date: August 29, 2006

Helpful info for Greenburgh residents who are members of Ardsley Athletic Club…

The Ardsley Athletic Club recently closed. I have been advised that the club may not open. I have been in touch with George Calvi, Ardsley Village Manager who advises that people should formally request a refund from Optifit. If they fail to honor that request in a timely manner they should file a claim with the Attorney General (422-8755). The AG’s office holds bonds for such businesses.  One can log on to the AG’s web site: www.oag.state.ny.us and follow the instructions and submit information electronically or download the complaint form and mail it along with a cover letter and a copy of your health club contract t: NY State Attorney General, 101 East Post Road, White Plains, NY 10601.

The Greenburgh Town Boardhired outside counsel with expertise in the field of tax law to assist the town in evaluating the tax terms of a possible agreement to lease Frank’s nursery as a temporary libraryfacility. We hired Scott DeSimone, an attorney with no ties to Greenburgh (he does certiorari work in Long Island) to represent the town in connection with the evaluation of the lease terms.
