NEED READING AREA AT THE LIBRARY
Release Date: January 25, 2007

I would like to thank the library staff for working so hard on the satellite library. The staff is friendly, hard working, dedicated –they are trying very hard to make the satellite library concept work.

The problem with the satellite library at Town Hall is that there is inadequate space to read/sit/relax.
I have a suggestion that I’d like to propose. The town is relocating the STAR offices to the Assessor’s office. There is a large space that used to be occupied by STAR. This room should be converted into a reading room for the library. This proposal, if implemented, could make the satellite library at the Town Hall work much better. We could put comfortable chairs/tables/magazines/newspapers in the room for people to use when they visit the library.
