The Greenburgh Town Board will vote tonight to schedule a public hearing for May 23, 2007to consider a local law to provide tax exemptions for members of the Volunteer Fire Depts. The hearing will take place at 7:15 PM. The legislation is a follow up to state legislation that authorized local governments to provide for some tax relief for volunteer firefighters.
