Predicted Snow Event - Saturday Night into Sunday
Release Date: December 14, 2007

THIS MESSAGE IS INTENDED FOR PEOPLE WHO NORMALLY PARK ON EAST HARTSDALE AVENUE - The National Weather Service is predicting another snow event probably beginning in the early morning hours (around midnight) on Sunday, December 16. At this time, the forecast is for frozen precipitation to continue until about noon on Sunday. Although it is premature to state whether a Snow Emergency will need to be declared, this is certainly a probability. Since the event is predicted to begin in the early morning hours, people may now wish to consider securing off-street locations to park for the Saturday night-Sunday morning period rather than having to move vehicles in the middle of the night. Should a Snow Emergency declaration appear to be necessary late Saturday night, we will attempt to provide as much advanced notice as possible. Remember to tune to WFAS AM or FM for information about the Snow Emergency or to call our Snow Hotline at 682-5387. The information in this message applies to parking on East Hartsdale Avenue only. Snow Parking rules for all other streets in the township are governed by existing law that prohibits parking between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. unless otherwise posted.
