Metro North and the County of Westchester are planning to study ways to improve access to the North White Plains railroad station. They are seeking input from the public. We're looking for comments re: station access, improving pedestrian access from Greenburgh to the station, increasing parking capacity, shuttle service. Let us know your experiences. Please e mail me your suggestions and I'll forward it to the appropriate people at Metro North. There will be public hearings later in the year but this is the right time to make your suggestions since it is very early in the process.

Hartsdale Train Station Update: Met with Metro North representatives. Metro North has advised that overpass & walkway enclosure /improvement project is in preliminary design stage. Bids to be awarded later in the year with work to commence probably in 2004.
