During the recent snow storms a number of volunteers have been kind enough to volunteer to serve as snow angels. We've helped a number of people including a woman who suffers from ALS, a wheelchair confined veteran and many senior citizens. I'm currently looking for volunteers to help a woman whose husband is on life support...some elderly residents in their 80s who just can't shovel anymore.
If you can help tomorrow or during the weekend please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com. I'll e mail you their contact info. I have advised residents who request snow angels that preference will be given to the elderly on fixed incomes and to those who suffer disabilities and need access in the event of medical emergencies.
Thank you!
PAUL FEINER
