SEPTEMBER 2016 VETERANS NEWSFLASH
On an ongoing basis your Town of Greenburgh, Veterans Advisory Committee, will provide town veterans an update on the committee’s activities. The Veterans Advisory Committee meets on the 1st Monday of the Month at 9:30AM in the Greenburgh Town Hall. Town veterans are welcome to attend.
HARTSDALE VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK:
Construction has begun on the new Greenburgh Veterans Memorial at De Santi Plaza opposite the southbound side of the Hartsdale train station. The new park will include a new Veterans Memorial honoring all veterans and active duty personnel. The dedication ceremony for the park is scheduled for Veterans Day, November 11, 2016 at 2:00PM. Veterans, families, and the public are encouraged to attend this very worthy, and historic event.
VETERANS RECOGNITION BAR-B-Q: THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 29 FROM 5 PM TO 8 PM FREE FOOD DONATED BY ATRIA WOODLANDS AND MARRIOTT
The annual Greenburgh Veterans Recognition Bar-B-Q will be held on Thursday September 29, 2016 from 5PM-8PM, at the Greenburgh Senior Center, in Anthony Veteran Park. All veterans are urged to attend this event. This year there will be informational tables on site, providing veterans with a range of benefits that are available. Please insure you make time to join us for a great evening, and the committee promises the speeches will be reduced from prior years.

This list is maintained with the strictest confidentially and is not released to any outside sources.
