During the past 26 years we have sponsored a snow angel program. Volunteers sign up and help elderly and disabled residents remove snow from their driveways. Some donate their time. Others accept a fee from those who are able to pay. I am compiling a list of 2017/2018 snow angels. If you would like to volunteer and become a snow angel and help out please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com. Let me know if you are willing to volunteer, if you would only help if you are paid and what sections of the town you are willing to serve. Also- do you have a snow blower? PAUL FEINER The Greenburgh Police Department is encouraging residents to protect themselves against potential fraudulent scams and identity theft. This event is hosted by the People’s United Bank and AARP, who will be providing a presentation on fraud prevention. Our Police Department will also be present and providing information to assist in preventing our community from being victimized. We are asking citizens to attend and share the information with family members, friends or neighbors who may be vulnerable to these scams.
