VETERANS RECEPTION TONIGHT AT AF VETERAN PARK
INTERVIEWS WITH GREENBURGH VETERANS TO BE AIRED ALL DAY TODAY ON PUBLIC ACCESS TV
Greenburgh will be hosting our 2nd annual barbecue honoring the veterans of Greenburgh for their service in the armed services tonight. The event will be held at AF Veteran park from 6 PM to 9 PM. Without these brave men and women, the freedom that we enjoy today would not be possible. Over 60 veterans have now participated in the Greenburgh living history project in order to assure that their stories will live on forever. We will be airing the 60+ interviews on public access TV all day today.
Alan Hochberg and Town Clerk Judith Beville are co-chairing the event. Our chief sponsor of the event: Shoprite supermarket. US Army General Evo Riguzzi will speak. Additional thanks to Carmine’s Deli & Café, Wedged in Deli and Eldorado Diner for their food contributions. And, thanks to the Town Board members: Kevin Morgan, Francis Sheehan, Sonja Brown and Diana Juettner. The following veterans of World War II will be honored.
